The Low End Theory (Green & Red Splatter 2LP) [RSD2025]

★ One of the pioneering groups of alternative hip-hop; their second studio album from 1991, presented here as a brand-new 2025 Record Store Day imported double-LP edition in black, green, and red splatter vinyl.
★ Fusing jazz and hip-hop, this album pioneered the jazz-rap genre through minimalist jazz sampling, deep basslines, and the distinct rapping styles of Q-Tip and Phife Dawg. A definitive masterpiece that shaped the landscape of 90s hip-hop, it has had a profound influence on future generations of rappers and producers.
★ Includes multiple classic singles, such as "Excursions," "Buggin' Out," "Check the Rhime," "Jazz (We've Got)," and "Scenario."
