The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume 2 (Limited White Vinyl)

◎ Barbra Streisand, the legendary diva, is a multi-hyphenate talent who has worked as a stage and film actor, singer, producer, director, songwriter, record producer, designer, author, and photographer. She holds the record as the only artist to have a number-one album in each of the six decades from the 1960s to the 2010s, and is an "EGOT" winner. With a staggering 245 million records sold worldwide, she is the only female artist to have 14 multi-platinum albums, and has won eight Grammy Awards, alongside a Lifetime Achievement Award and a Grammy Legend Award!

◎ Following her 2014 genre-spanning duet album "Partners," Barbra returns 11 years later with the second installment, "The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume 2," continuing her record of having an album in the Top 40 in every decade since the 1960s. Her total album count has reached 55, far surpassing the 26 albums each from Aretha Franklin and Madonna. The album also debuted at No. 4 on the Top Album Sales chart, demonstrating a commercial influence spanning over 60 years. After completing the audiobook recording of her autobiography, "My Name Is Barbra," she immediately began work on this new album, an experience that brought a more introspective atmosphere to several tracks. The album cover, shot by her daughter-in-law Kathryn Boyd Brolin, showcases the collaborative spirit within the family.

◎ The most highly anticipated track on "The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume 2" is the cover of "The Very Thought Of You," featuring folk pioneer Bob Dylan. Bob had invited Barbra to collaborate decades ago, and this marks their first-ever studio duet. Oscar-nominated, Grammy-winning Ariana Grande joins for "One Heart, One Voice," marking a reunion for the pair following their 2019 live performance at Chicago's United Center, with the added star power of vocal powerhouse Mariah Carey making this track a pre-release sensation. Crossover superstar Josh Groban, known for his vast vocal range, assists on "Where Do I Go From You?," making him the only guest to return for a second collaboration. She joins forces with the dark and light messenger Hozier for "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," a tribute to the original singer Roberta Flack, who passed away in February 2025. Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Paul McCartney reinterprets his own song, "My Valentine," expressing appreciation and gratitude for his partner. In addition to these superstars, the album features cross-genre contributions from Oscar, Golden Globe, Grammy, and Brit Award winner Sam Smith, country king Tim McGraw, British rock poet Sting, English soul ambassador Seal, and Grammy-winning new-generation jazz songstress Laufey, making for an 11-track collection of incredible crossover collaborations!
